Pretty sure you can shop there without being a member, but you will pay a mark-up.

I don't know to be honest. We are members. You can order it off the web. There was no shipping charge.

My receipt says, "Standard shipping via UPS Ground is included in the quoted price. The estimated delivery time will be approximately 3-5 days from the time of order."

On the Costco stuff they advertise a 20 year shelf life. But, like everything else, that's if it's stored at 60°F. It drops to 10 years if stored at 70°F. I assume it's freeze dried since you just add water so there isn't anything to freeze. I doubt extreme heat would be good for it, however. Probably not good to store in your car, for example.

They seem to change the menu around a bit. This offering doesn't have pancakes and an earlier one I picked up did. There are other changes as well. That's nice if you buy these because it increases the selection.

In looking at the nutritional value, it looks like only 900 calories a day if you have one serving of each a day. There other bucket meals is $99.99 and is 2100 calories a day with 30 days worth of meals. That may be a better value.

I don't think I want 2100 calories to consume if I have to rotate it out. The 900 calories can be combined with a canned protein if you need to up the calories because of activity. My stay put plan doesn't need that many calories just watch bug-n-outers flock by the house.

Rick, you don't "have" to consume that many calories. But at the same time the meals that they have on sale limits you to a max of 900 calories if you want it to last the full 30 days. The other bucket could extend that 30 days by 50% or 100% based on your calorie consumption.

I was just thinking about when it comes expiration time and you have to start eating it or toss it in the trash. I don't think left over 20 year old reconstituted noodles is going to be on the top of my list for comfort food. It won't be toooo bad the first day but that second day is gonna be a killer.
