Looking at the collection you have had passed down, reminds me of my fathers collection, and kinda had to laugh and comment.
16 ga pump Win model 12
303 Savage M99
Stevens .22 SS, ( that was mine, but he borrowed it, LOL)
Little .32 colt auto that he kept in the papers safe.

I'm guessing this was the basic collection that most of our fathers/grandfathers had, used for everything, and got along just fine.
So when some one asks, (and they seem to do every 6 minths or so) "what are the basics I need......" Just post this Pic.
