Not trying to split hairs. I know there is a decent probability that my home can get hit with fire. I have planned for that. I have smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, escape ladders on the second story and have practiced fire escapes with one or more exits blocked. We have even done drills with the grand kids. I don't worry about it, though. I save my worry for the really important stuff in life. Like what would happen if I find I have two jars of mustard but I'm out of bacon? That's the stuff that keeps me up at night.

Bushman - I've always been silly but I've finally gotten old. I must have been very lucky or doing something right or both to make it this long.

I wuz brung up (in the 50's-60's) on Alfred E and 'Spy vs Spy'.....what good times those were !! T-bucket Fords, V8 Chevvys...the Commies were the bad guys..........nobody blinked if a teenager had a .22 across the handlebars of his bike or a Lee Enfield slung across his back as he rode his bike out bush to pot the odd deer or pig......... most kids had 'Mum at home and Dad out at work'.........divorce was only something for Movie Stars and Millionaires. The price of gas wasn't even in the equation........Politicians were generally straight talkers and straight shooters......and whats more, most had the respect of the people, and stuck to their word.............unlike the scum suckers we're lumbered with today...............
