I have evolved my life (Effective today) so that the U.S. Postal Service can now be closed.

My Social Security Check goes directly to my checking account. All bills are on Auto-Pay from my credit cards. And today I started using the phone to transfer money from the checking account to pay the credit card payments.

Is America great or what......? A guy can live in the middle of no-where and do business.

Sunny today 73* above, bills are paid, I think I'll take the new Winchester 1892 for a walk. (Sucks that it took 64 years to figure out how to live right).

I agree......(However they are now and always have been a "Private Corporation", with full Government backing) What is needed is to sever the full government backing. However it would still fall under the safety blanket of "Too Big Too allow to Fail" so it is really point-less.

But my post was really about how simple life can get. I did not know till today that I could make Credit Card Pmts. by Phone.

Once a bill is automatically paid it's a PITA to dispute it later if there's a discrepancy.
I read and check everything before I pay it.

My Phone & Internet bills are on auto pay, it is a locked in $64.99 per month, the only other auto pay is my business Website hosting $6.99 per month.

I went to pay my quad payment this month and then a few days later I checked to see if it showed paid. It did not and so I clicked on the payment again. A couple of days later I find I paid twice!
