I dont know how popular elderflower cordial is outside of Scandinavia, but if you havnt tried it, you definately should! Nothing makes for a better summer drink than an icy glass of elderflower cordial!

I've only had it once, one of my friends visited Europe a while back and brought some home. It one of the most amazing drinks I've ever had! I've been meaning to make some of my own, but haven't gotten around to it.

Oh yes! Large jug of elderflower cordial with loads of ice....lovely!
My mum used to make it, OMG it was good and cheap too.

I dont know what the word Cordial means, but if it means the liquid that you mix up with water, then it is the same that we have here in Denmark.

You pour 1/8 of the elderflower liquid into a glass, add a few ice cubes, then fill the rest of the glass with either club soda or regular water. You can even a bit of lemon if you like. It is AMAZING! Y'all need to try it.

Why thankyou Asger!(never noticed!) And yup, it's the same stuff over here in England too. Elderberry Cordial made with hot water is a great winter alternative, warms the cockles nicely.
