Odd but I thought a wolf was stealing and eating my geese (I lost 5 in 16 days). Now I am wondering if Rick is one of those spirit people that changes form, and transcends time & space. Rick, you S.O.B. you stay away from my geese. Hehehehe

Rick's a good person and I hope his hiatus from the forum is for a vacation. He's been stomped on a couple times this past month by members. So, I couldn't blame him for leaving. I sure hope not.

SD, are you really naive, or you're just playing the part? :sneaky2:

I met Rick at a jamboree and he is one of the nicest folks you could ever know. SD, MMM, Hermit & RWC owe Rick a huge public apology.

I have a pellet pistol and nailed this fox 4 times now. He just doesn't seem to get the idea. I put ten pumps on it the last time and it set him squating on his hind quarters before he ran off and havn't seen him since. Maybe he got the message this time. I havn't lost any geese.

Even better...you turn this forum into your idea of what it ought to be.
Nothing like being proven wrong.

The folks that live away from society have a better plan for operating a forum? I don't get it.

Let's please not go down this road again. It has been hashed, rehashed and hashed again. Everybody go for a hike, do a project, take some pictures and then post about it.

Thanks.

Have you heard from him Crash? There was a Tornado up in Indiana the other day I believe. With all these Tornado's that is my first "Worry" when I don't hear from someone who was in these areas. Just Hope he's OK.

Yeah, Rebel is right, Rick is a good guy. Don't know what that's all about nor do I want to.... just something I'm glad I missed apparently. I don't agree with anyone 100% of the time, not even myself! ....Just hope he's OK.

I think Rick posted a Happy Birthday wish to Mountain Momma yesterday.

That's good. Then that means he survived all these Tornadoes....Whew! This was the FIRST thread I read, when I logged on, and got worried immediately. Sounds strange I know, being the internet and all, BUT I have met People from the forum at Both Jamborees. After something like that, you feel more of a personal connection with folks, at least I do. There are so many things anyone can disagree on, knives, best fire starting method, Firearms, etc.... but none of that is really important when you kinda' know the person, have shared a meal with them and such. Is it really THAT important? Nah, just so long as he's OK, THAT is important.
