.22 mag fans

Just picked up a Marlin bolt action in .22 mag. Had one years ago but traded it away to get my first muzzleloader. I regret that trade and was tickled to get another. How many of you folks here are fans of the .22 mag and what kind of game have you taken with it?

I've got a Ruger Super Single Six and a 10-22Mag. Mostly coyotes but I have seen a blacktail cleanly taken with the .22mag. I'd really like to get the new pistol from KelTec.

Things I've killed with a .22 mag include alligators, coyotes, one red fox, snapping turtles, snakes, feral dogs, squirrels, rabbits, coon, nutra, alligator gar (fuuuunnnn!), one skunk, oppossum, hogs, an ear off of a bobcat :), and just about everything else that walks, crawls, swims, or flies in Louisiana. A .22 Mag revolver is a must have around camp IMO particularly a Ruger Single Six. It kills way better than it's size may suggest. You're gonna love it.

Quality-Quality-Quality. Most .22 Rimfire rifles are made for youths and have a 12" length of pull. Most CZ rimfire rifles have a 14" length of pull. Some have "Single-Set" Triggers. CZ rifles are just high class quality and extremely accurate.

Yep, what Sourdough said. I have a CZ 452 American in .22 LR which is of the highest quality and it's accuracy is SURGICAL!. I was literally shooting horse flies off the target at 50 yards when I ran out of bullseyes. The CZ 75 pistol I own is every bit as high in quality and reliability. A highly recommended company.

Yeah just love my CZs. CZ 85 is great, easy to strip clean and maintain, shoots great because of the internal slide rail. Shoots all ammo without problems.

Love the 22lr bolt CZ, very very accurate out to 130m with supremes.

I've used Alota different guns, but the CZs have something very good about them.
