My cousin has been bugging me for the last couple of years to register on a survival forum. After looking around this forum looks like a place I can relate to.
So, about me. I have spent the better part of my life in the outdoors. I am a guide for Momma Wilderness. I show others how to get back to our primal roots. How to appreciate and use her resources to live as the aboriginal peoples did hundreds, even thousands of years ago.
I love to explore new areas and learn new things about what Momma has available to us.

Believe it or not, we got snow in the foothills around Bullhead City this morning,, lasted about 10 min,, lol
This is amazing. I've spent so much time in your area. We had a camp right off of Route 6 almost due east from Hatch Mesa. I'll bet you know Joe and Pauline at Joe's Stop and Go. It's about the only area around there to get gas and something cold to drink. What a small world!!!!

I was talking to Primitiveman and the coordinates beneath his avatar. It's straight north of Moab, Utah about 20 miles. That gets into some rugged country. Joe's Stop and Go is just off Route 6 right there.

Is that the truck stop/diner on the north side of the road? I have been there many times myself

I thought he was In Arizona, Moab is quite a ways isn't it ?
About 240 miles from the nearest folks as far as I can tell. Anyway, our camp had this huge bear den. About the size of a living room. It's was a pretty sweet set up.

It was. We had an internet hook up out of Michigan. It was a specially designed fiber route that only fed us. We had an ice box that was tin, burlap, packing case lined. It's the only way we could keep our wild burro meat cool in the summer.
Has anyone caught on yet? I'm tossing out enough hints. Anyone care to guess?

I think some things need to be cleared up here!
First of all; I am not native dude. I think that native dude is my cousin posing as me?! I received a few private messages from crashdrive about this very topic.
My cousin lives in Michigan. He is a computer tech/programmer. He IS NOT an outdoorsman. He has been out in the woods with me a total of about 3 weeks on different outings.
After crashdrive brought it to my attention, I was looking at native dude's profile. A lot of what he has posted are MY WRITINGS. Things that I have sent to him and other family members in letters over the years and from my journal.
And, at this moment I am sitting in Michigan. Flew in last night for my aunt's funeral. She was like a second mom to me. She passed away Friday from diabetes ravaging the arteries around her heart and renal failure. She was only 73.
I've lived in Moab for 2 years. Lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming before that, and Gold Creek, Montana before that.
So, before you cast any further aspersions, please don't lump me with my cousin. I am not him by any means. He has always said that he is envious of my life and the lifestyle that I live. I believe that he is trying to damage or destroy what I have built and I am REALLY ****** OFF!

I think that my cousin knew that if I signed in it would cause just exactly what has happened. Doubt, questions, etc.
Looking through native dudes postings it looks like he says that he lives in alaska?! That is funny. I lived in alaska for a year back in 1999. If this is my cousin, and I think it is, he certainly never lived in alaska. He is such a city boy!

When he directly posted the videos, they were removed because they violated forum rules (advertising). He had a link up in his signature to all of the videos and it was oddly edited out before you began posting.

thats a good point....Aboriginal groups (our anyone struggling to feed themselves) will embrace new technology to better help them meet their needs. Native Americans quickly took to the horse, and rifle, and the Inuit embraced the snow machine and plastic sunglasses! However, remembering the old ways is important to...that way if we ever run out of Raybans or SkiDoo's someone will still know how to provide

If those things had hit us now instead of back then we would still suffer a mass die off, technology or not. We still have no way of preventing something if we don't yet know it exists. Once we know it exists we take action, but it's still too late for the ones that first got it, just like it was back then. No different than today in that regard.

I don't think the average native american lived as short of lives as are often proclaimed on this forum. There is no real proof or history as to how long they lived before white man came along with all the above described diseases and poisoned the once pristine land that we now call home.

So I was looking for ND a while back, went to the site with the vids that he had posted, found the forum, but when I went back, it was gone, (the one with 8 members that some one brought up.
So any way, in it's place was a new forum by White bear, so far I'm #2 but the colors really suck and hurt my eyes and haven't really been back till today and it's still there.

I won't post it because I don't know who really owns it and who the youtube folks really are. They may have no association to ND/PM at all.
Ranger, Nativedude has simply lied to us about who he is and where he is. He's not in Alaska. He's in Michigan. Once he was uncovered his "cousin" Primitiveman joined the forum. The thing is both ND and PM are accessing the net from the same server. So, the only thing that has happened is ND and created a second account, PM and now he's trying to convince us they are two separate people. In short, he is a disingenuous person.

I have to say both, and the reason it was not exposed a long time ago is MY Fault. The short version is just after Kevin aka "Klkak" joined he saw it right away. And I wrongly advised Kevin "Klkak" to NOT press the issue.
However the Photos that Nativedude posted were his clear undoing. It is a long story, but Kevin was right in his observations, and I was wrong.

The general information he gave was good. It is the persona he presented that is the problem. He is passing himself off as someone he is not. He had people wishing they could be just like him only he wasn't real.
There is a wisdom that says, "hate the sin not the sinner".
If he were to humble himself and start re-earning this community's respect, I think we should except him back. However if he continues to live in the "make believe" then we should shun him.

I'd take him back in. I think he wants to be "Native Dude" or "Primitive Man" and live the life he talks about. However, living like that is damn near impossible for anyone. Thats what made me think he was a fraud a year ago myself. THe life he talked about just didn't add up, theres not enough hours in the day... living like he talks about is damned brutal, anyone who lives it, will tell you that. He always made its seem romantic. And, from my limited experience on the issue- I say there is nothing too romantic about it...its backbreaking work to live a subsistence life in a Northern Climate...you got to be hard, and you have to be a killer. He never stuck me as either, he struck me as a hobbyist...a Walter Mitty type, who dreamed it, but didn't walk it. Nothing wrong with that- just admit it.

I guess I should have known from the information I get from my aunt who lives in AK regarding the life of the Inuit, that it was all a sham, but I still wanted to believe in my heart that it was possible for someone to go out and live as a part of nature.

I don't think the thread - or the topic should be locked and tucked away. The truth is the truth and to deny it only leads to more disappointment. This should serve as a shining example of how a reputation and trust that is earned can so easily be shattered.

I agree with most of what has been said. Obviously he has some issues - maybe even demons to deal with. The fact that he has lied to all of us really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things. His condescending attitude toward just about everybody except one member that I think he fancied himself to be more like are issues that he will have to deal with. The most troubling thing for me were some of the younger, wide eyed folks that were awe struck by such a "romantic" life style. He may have caused some to venture off to chase a dream, only to find heart break. I guess it's possible that it may have caused some to venture off to chase a dream and find happiness too. I think most would prefer to go on a journey with with the truth and reality.
Well, all I can say is if someone wants to know about living the lifestyle that he tried to portray, ask Wildwoman (and a couple others around here). It's good that we maintain an awareness of what went down with ND, and a lot of his information is still valid, but I kind of think we're beating a dead horse now.

AS, The thing with Nativedude, is that he was misleading members. And it became more and more extreme. There are waves of young dreamers who come here wanting to spend a year or a lifetime all alone in the wilderness. As an adult member of this forum I have a self imposed moral obligation to the young wilderness seekers. Not to squash their dream, but to nurture it's safe manifestation.

It worked when I was 7 or 8, jumping off the roof of a friends Garage. Later in life I actually jumped out of Airplanes with a real parachute......... Just sayin', one thing MAY have lead to the other...........:innocent:

Earlier in life, I actually jumped out of an Airplane WITHOUT a parachute and survived without even a scratch.
Maybe that had something to do with the fact that the plane was on the ground. :innocent:
