    I happened upon this place while searching for more info on old man's beard and chaga. It seems like a nice enough place.

    Hope y'all don't mind if I pull up a log. I am a Marine Corps veteran. I enjoy just about anythi anything outside. I'm solely looking to take on knowledge and maybe if the topic is right and I have a clue what I'm talking about give just alittle bit back.

    Hello from Fort Matanzas, and Thank You for Your Service. Don't expect Old Folks like myself to get you to work anymore. LOL. Only USMC Mos (8541) I ever got trained in is obsolete, but the Gunny that wasted his time on this Unsavory Squid keep repeating something about once a Marine always a Marine. Some of the most downright salt of the earth folks I ever met wore MARPAT, (actually woodland or chocolate chips) glad to have you aboard.

    Welcome and thanks for the service. Whole bunch of vets here.

    Are you from upper East TN or Southern East TN?

    I lived in middle TN for 50 years and did historic work all over the East TN area but mostly in the central and upper ETN sections from Ft Loudoun up to Tricities.
    If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

    I live around the Powell area, Knox county. I work all over go to tel cities regularly.
