Yes it will. I use the free version and it works just fine. Choose the Download option. That will take you to a screen where you can choose the Free version or purchase the Professional version.

Yep. Every word that's typed can be a keyword. Companies actually bid on keywords. The highest bidder will have their ad appear. For example, Target (watch their ads start to appear) might bid .01 cent for every appearance and .03 for every click through (when someone actually clicks on the ad). Walmart might bid on the same words but bid .02 for every appearance and .03 for every click through. The ad company (I used Ad Aware for awhile) will then place a Walmart ad every time the keyword they bid on is typed.
You can also sign up with ad companies and apply to different retailers to show their ads. If they accept you then they will display ads where ever you put them on your web site. There is a subscription fee for these types of ads.
If someone is interested in the ad and clicks on it then Chris will make money for the click. But don't go clicking a bunch of ads thinking you'll help him because those companies watch the click throughs very close. If they even suspect the click throughs are artificially being inflated in an effort to increase income they can and will ban you for life.
