Big Cypress and The Florida Trail makes the top ten winter hikes.

I have hiked many sections of the Florida Trail and cross it often in various places we hunt, camp and hike or ride.

We used to be members of the Florida Trail Association. That is the only way you can hike the part of the trail through The Seminole Big Cypress Reservation which is North of the Big Cypress Addition Lands in the Northern Reaches of the Big Cypress Preserve.

There are a lot of good looking trails! I like the Big Bend Southern Rim Trail in particular, not that the others aren't trips of a lifetime.
