    Default Gray Wolf

I wanted to pass along some information on one of our members. I don't have all the particulars yet but still wanted to share what I have.

Gray Wolf spent a few weeks guiding for one of the Universities performing water quality checks in the Everglades. Unfortunately, he tangled with a gator and it sounds like the gator might have gotten the better end. Gray Wolf was bitten on his right hand, wrist, forearm and shoulder. He is home recuperating now.

He said to tell everyone that "Celox is a must for everyone's kit. You just never know when something is going to go wrong." That's a direct quote.

I've asked his wife for more information and as soon as I learn more I'll pass it along.

In the meantime, I'm quite sure Gray Wolf would appreciate your prayers for a speedy recovery and any PMs/emails that you care to pass along to him.

Thanks for the heads up, although I don't know him personally He will be in my prayers, I've been around a LOT of Gators and have never seen what they can do to a person other than TV. However I have seen what they can do to other animals, and am sure he is grateful to be alive.

Will be praying for a speedy recovery when you can tell us all about it!

Deborah just sent me an email on Bruce's condition.

"Bruce has been in and out of the hospital for operations on his hand and shoulder.
When the alligator did it's roll, it tore the rotor cuff and split open a 2" gap in the thick muscle that goes from the shoulder to the neck, which the surgeon didn't know until he opened him up. It's going to be a long recovery."

I sent Deborah a link to this thread so Bruce could see all the well wishes being sent his way.
