Thread: maple seeds?

    Default maple seeds?

Anyone have experience eating the seeds from those helicopters (samara?) from maple trees? Are some maples better than others? Any to be avoided entirely?

    Thanks

all maple seeds are good to eat . some of them have tannins, boil then like acorns. the same rule applys... small and sweet , big and bitter. i like the norway maple seed, large enough bto get volume, and not too bitter.
