Question do u believe what u see??

i debated to put up this thread. but decided that urban survivial is still here with many of us.. while driving home from the ocala meeting, i saw apparent road rage.. the lite was red 500 yrds in ftont of me, so i backed off the gas to coast..the wine colored small suv in front of me keeped going at the same pace..traffic in the other lanes were moving faster..i was in the cntr lane, moving slower..the suv rammed the little white subcompact. i looked to see the man in the suv waving his arms and his body moving all about the front seat..when traffic slowed he rammed them again..his arms still waving wildly.. as the little white car started moving to the left. the suv followed..it seamed to be pushing the car in front.. it was know that i thought full road rage was happening.. then the driver of the suv laid down in the pass seat, i thought going for a gun.. i thought about my own piece in the camp bag behind me.. then as i watched ,his suv started around the llittle white car to the right.. and the man went into the pass seat again.. what do u see?? tell me what u think.. ill tell the rest after a few comments..

At first I would think road rage as well. Then possible some medical condition in which the driver was incompetent to drive normally or in a very big hury for someone else(passanger that we don't see could be unconscience). But I believe that I would lean toward the road rage idea.

Probably messing with a small child or a puppy or something distracting?

Ok - He was blind. He was riding as a passenger in the vehicle when the driver had a heart attack. Being the quick thinker that he was, he managed to slide the driver out of his seat and traded places with him. Having been blind all of his life, he had no idea how to drive, and obviously did not know where he was going. He banged into the vehicle in front of him and frantically started signing to let them know what was going on. He checked on the man now slumped in the passenger seat. He again slammed into the vehicle in front and signed again to no avail.........

yeah, physical incapacitation is always a possibility. my first thought was heart attack, though i've seen my fair share of road rage aswell.

it dosen't explain everything, but mechanical problems, such as loosing break power, steering, etc. can be a possibility aswell.

one thing i've noticed about road rage is that violence is usually preceeded by and concurrent with screaming obsinities at the top of his or her lungs.

i'm glad you where able to give aid. i had a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and everybody just drove right on by, probably in too much a hurry to get to work. luckily i made it alright, but needless to say i was late to work that day.

Good post, Palm Stalker. Glad everything is ok. One time, while driving on the Mass Pike in the rain, heading home to the Albany area, I saw a car slide off the road and into a ditch. This was before cell phones, so I stopped to see if I could offer assistance. There was a toddler who had gotten out of the car and I could see his mother calling from the driver's seat to get back in the car. She did not want me to come near her or the car. (I was a clean cut looking 18 year old at the time). I asked if everyone was ok, and then I told her I would get off at the next exit (2 miles away) and ask someone to send help at the toll booth. Looking back, I guess I should have stayed there and flagged someone else down to get help, but she seemed really frightened.

I don't blame her for being frightened and cautious, so I did what I could in those circumstances.
