What does a police state look like?

Here is how the police dealt with ABC news producer Asa Eslocker. Mr. Eslocker was standing on a public sidewalk with a camera crew when Democratic Party officials were exiting a hotel. He was doing a story on major donors to the Democratic efforts and some of those major donors were coming out of the hotel. Police decided that he had no right to do that story and began by manhandling him and pushing him off the sidewalk into traffic. ABC News reports that the office told Eslocker: “You’re lucky I didn’t knock the f**k out of you.” Here is some video of the incident. Welcome to America, land of the free. In this next video things are a bit sketchy but USA Today and Rocky Mountain News reported on the incident leading up to it. Alicia Forrest, 24, was watching a protest when a police officer yelled, “Back it up, b***h.” He then struck her with his baton causing her to fall to the ground in pain. After she got up she was being interviewed peacefully by reporters about the incident. Apparently those interviews were enough. The police are seen then rushing in and grabbing her and taking her away. That is one way to put an end to interview.

The really great thing about living in the United States as opposed to a Police State is that even when a couple of over zealous officials do the wrong thing, it gets reported. Then measures are taken to avoid a repeat. Just like with the massive gun confiscation in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, steps were taken to not let that happen again. Bragg - I think you're casting your line in the wrong pond.

Bullying and intimidation works. That's why the govt uses it. So often.

That said. The Thug Machine has big problems with mobility and dispersion. The students elected to live and meet in a single house together. In other words, a 'fixed, concentrated, high-value target'. Just waiting to be taken out. So it was.

If the budding Neos want to fight the Agents from the Matrix. Dispersity and mobility should be the rule. Blend in with the population. Be good little citizens outwardly. Misdirection, decoys, false leads, dead ends, diversions should be their bread and butter. They need to employ guerilla tactics if they want to fight the machine. Organize into cells. Use couriers to communicate. Don't organize on the net. The govt owns it. Always assume your organization has been penetrated. Be a Spud. Constantly vet people.

The students didn't even take minimal security precautions. They thought they could organize a protest. And be left alone by Big Brother. Hah!

I'll ask the question no one else has asked yet; if the Govt. is all that brutal & so ready to shut anyone up they don't like why is Bragg still here apparently unharmed & able to rant away at 'em? Out of the 110 or so that were thrown on the ground and handcuffed for up to an hour, only 5 were arrested for telling the police to "F" off. Charged with inciting to riot. What a pile of crap. They hadn't did anything wrong...... just a bunch of kids.

My God what has society become to so casually accept such actions from a public official. Those police officers involved in this should all be ashamed of themselves. How would they like it if a group of thugs burst into their house in the morning, thrown their family members on the ground and cow tied their hands and feet? Any Judge who signed a warrant like this needs to be literally thrown out of office on their petard!

This is only the beginning IMO.

Just a bunch of kids? Some of the more violent radical groups of the 60's were just kids. When the Weathermen set of their bombs, they were just kids. The sick SOB's that killed at the Columbine high school were just kids. The coward that killed at Virginia Tech was just a kid. So if a group of kids threatens to kill people and create terrorism through their activities then what......ignore it because they're just kids?

I have dual citizenship Beo, father from Ontario and mother from Vero Beach Fla. I was born in Buffalo NY. (parents visiting great grandmother) I've lived in Canada since I was 3 days old.

Everything found in the raid could be found in anyones home. The girl with the piss balloon maybe kinky, I don't know.
