Happy freak'n Monday...

I hate monday's... well this Monday. I came into work to look at the vacation schedule and found this friday from 9am till 7pm I have inservice training, problems are:
1. No one has told me this and the schedule has been up for two months, now that I run my own building (1 year 6 months here as supervisor) my supervisor or stupivisor doesn't call or come down here so I get no information on the goings on in my own department, hence my yearly evaluation is coming up this month and he has been here only a handful of times and bearly calls so what the he11 will he put on my eval? And when will they tell me I have inservice training? I'm not gonna let them know I know and see when they tell me. I find out what goes on-on my own although he's supposed to see if we need anything here... guess the budget doesn't allow for him to come down here.
2. I was going on a trek this weekend but since I get off at 7pm on firday that blows friday as its a 3 hour drive to get where the guys I go with are leaving from, so its another trek I gotta miss. Gonna do a Saturday & Sunday with the wife then, no biggy just wanted to go.
Anyway this Monday is suking so far.

Sorry Beo,I am supposed to go in to work tonight (unpaid) to clean the store for inspection tomorrow,since I have to be at work at 4 in the morning,I am NOT going in and cleaning off the clock until 10 or whatever time they decide to quit,besides,it's against company policy to do any type of work off the clock.....

Oh yeah our yearly in service training has been cut from one week to one day due to budget cuts, so no legal updates, no defensive tactics, no new anything just shooting for qualifications and of course the weigh-in just incase your a pound or two over he restrict your off duty details and write you up, so our 74 year old Sheriff has deputies that look good and can shoot but not know any new legal briefs or laws.
I'm really start'n to hate this department.

That song brings back some memories of days gone by. Sure glad I got old and boring - makes Monday's alot easier to handle.

Im a Gov schlup that works from my PC at home..No boss, or schedule. Just dead lines....Im loven it..Might head out on the Kayak for lunch...

Monday morning in the woods...woke up when I did; watered and fed the ducks, lugged 150l of water up into the garden and watered that; now there's the real tough decisions: go for a walk with the dogs first or get some writing done? Then I have to set up a different watering system for the ducks so my sweetie, the dogs and I can go out on the lake for a week. Also have to bake more bread and start dehydrating 4 days worth of food for my last town trip of the year.
But first I'll take the dogs out and see if what the moose and bear traffic has been like up in the woods overnight.
