    Eat Insects?

Crash, diversify a bit and you could open up a restaurant.

when I was in Jr. High, about hundred years ago, we had a science teacher who brought in chocolate covered bumblebees and deep fried grasshoppers for us to eat.
the bees tasted like chocolate covered raisins and the grasshoppers really close to fried mushrooms............both very good eating.

Actually, we all eat alot of insects in our food without evening knowing it.

The way I see it, if you can eat a clam (a worm in a shell that filter feeds from sewerage) then you can eat anything.

Put away your pre-conceived food prejudices and enjoy any food that comes your way.

    No problem.

I could do without eating spiders in my sleep. Of all the creepy-crawlies I hate spiders.

Snakes no problem... used to like to catch em as a kid just for fun.

    Spiders - no.

I've seen that and I've always asked the question, "Who stayed awake that long and counted them?"

If anyone is worried about riots over food then learn to eat insects and you'll be well fed!

I couldn't agree MORE! It's not that I have a fear of them, but if I had the choice to be confronted with a copperhead or a black widow, for some reason, I'd pick the copperhead. And don't get me started on eating them........

i 've got enough mosquiters to feed an army, i lay a couple pieces of wood on my driveway leave em overnight pick up in the am and a dozen worms are there, ant hills out in the hores pastures could eat the larve. now that being said i have not done this and i know i should practice before the skill is needed

Anything tastes good if it's rolled in batter and deep-fried. Mmm...mmm...good!
