Why did I read Alan's post?

Hmm. Hard to argue with that logic.

Just consider Alan's method a means of flossing.

Yeah, I draw the line at that, well, at several that's.

    1. No A$$ washing in public.
    2. No A$$ washing without soap.
    3. No drinking or face washing with the A$$ washing hand.

    There's probably more.

Well, yeah. No A$$ washing anyone else in public. etc., etc., That was just begging to be said.

The really scary thing about that video is how many people walked by like that was an everyday thing. Hello. That guy has his drawers down and is washing his butt. He's getting butt germs on the street and flinging 'em everywhere. Someone call the gendarmes if you please.

Those do work very well for the compressed towels! The only problem is that I rarely see M&Ms in the tubes around here.

As Rick said, I brought them up a while back and used them doing the triple crown loop on the AT last spring. I bought mine at either Cabelas or Bass Pro (can't remember which) and they were $9.99 and came with their own hard case, eliminating the need for m&m containers. I carry them with some real tp and a travel pack of wet wipes. Tp and wet wipes are for the rear business. These I find great for bathing purposes and cleaning up dishes. A little expensive for what they are, but great for backpackability when size and weight are of great importance.

FYI, CH Kadels has them for $1.99 for a 12 pack if anyone wants to try them for cheap.

Cellulose is definitely biodegradable, it comes from plants. I really enjoyed reading all your posts, even Alan's. I will definitely think about this item for my next trip.
