Sorry, I can't hold it right now. I'm starting a fire.

I can't hold it either, I'm holding the fire extinguisher for John Lee!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Well, I managed to schedule a couple of hours of "me" time in my retirement today to continue my sow's ear project. I used a propane burner instead of the cutting torch to heat treat the blades. They glowed red and melted the magnet to the touch so I called it good. Dropped them in a coffee can of Castrol 10W-40 and then shined them up again. I got ahead of myself with the push tang and JB Welded the handle on before I remembered, "Oh, yeah tempering…" I'll do that Wednesday morning when the kitchen is not monitored. Then I cut the scales for the full tang wrong, actually drilled the holes wrong. So I'll cut new scales tomorrow. Maybe after I do it 10,000 times I'll make one that's presentable.

If you wait a few minutes they will dry by themselves. Just go stand in the sun for a while.

Well, no, I haven't seen it before. But I've seen it now, and, as has been said "what has been seen cannot be un-seen". Excuse me now I have a new website to peruse.

    Thanks,

    Alan
