It’s a tool to set the teeth on Russian saws… don’t know if it will work on others or not…

I was gonna guess moderately old but I'll go with Alan. Yeah, what he said. How did you know about that Russian saw thingy? Do they have Russian saws in Texas? I could understand Mexican saws but Russian?

I don't quite understand the Technical Terms of the English language, especially in Timber Construction....
However, I must admit that your answer is absolutely Correct!
1. This ax is called a splitting ax. It should be used to split firewood.
2. The second ax is an ordinary household ax. Use it for any work on your land
3. The third ax is the Carpenter's Axe. It has a blade radius of approximately 2 radii of wood to manually assemble your wooden house from a log

There is one more ax.. But this ax is for Professional construction and restoration of wooden Temples.
This ax is very expensive.
I passed it on to young builders 10 years ago so they could gain experience
