Discovery Channel Building

What's up with this?Just heard it on the radio.

"DEVELOPING: Police in Maryland are responding to a possible hostage situation after reports that a man with a handgun entered the Discovery Channel headquarters building in Silver Spring and fired one shot.

A Discovery employee reportedly told ABC News that the building, located in suburban Washington, D.C., was on lockdown. The employee also said she thought she had heard five or six gunshots."

Been watching it on the news. Still not a lot of details, and any initial info coming out probably contains a lot of inaccuracies.

Fox just read off some profile the guy had on some computer site and the guy claims to view James T. Kirk as a hero. Treky gone over the deep end.

Apparently he watched Al Gores movie and claimed it changed him and he now needed to do something to save the Earth.

Still thinking that a tribble has something to do with it.

i just heard that he has been trying to get people to help him protest Discovery for a long time,, this is from an ex employee,, said he liked the programming but there wasn't enough of it ?? he even hired some homeless people to hold signs once outside the building in a picket line ,, LOL,, was only him and the homeless folks,,,

This just in, Discovery channel to air a new survival show called "Surviving Discovery."

I take it Bear, Les, Mykel, David, & Cody weren't there. With all the weaponry those guys carry "El Loco" wouldn't stand a chance. I can see it now, Les "blows harp" while Bear forces the guy to drink his own pee. However the siege will probably end as a result of Discovery offering the guy his own show! "Man vs Stupidity!"

Watching the live coverage - the spokesman said the suspect has been shot (doesn't know his condition), the explosive device apparently went off. He said all hostages are safe but there are other devices that need to be cleared.

One of the idiot reporters just asked "What's going to happen to the officers that shot him?"

I say - if he killed him, give him a medal. If he wounded him, send him to the range for practice.

thanks Rick,, I just tried to look at his site with the link provided in that article, couldnt load it, either its overwhelmed or has been taken down,,, I think its just too busy, i didnt get a "Not found error"
