Does anybody have experience with this knife? Have you heard any reviews about it? Is the brand good? Here's a link, http://www.ragweedforge.com/HelleCatalog.html (its near the bottom)

I would go with the Helle Odel. I have nothing bad to say about Norwegians, Do you know that Sweden has, but Finland and Norway don't have. Good neighbor's. Norway has Sweden and the sea, Finland has Sweden and Russia, but Sweden has Finland and Norway.

I like the norwegian style of knife like the web site says they look good and perform good

The laminated blades do a few things. They make the blade more tolerant of flexing. The inner layer is designed to hold an edge while the outer layers add durability.

On the Mora's I thought that the laminated meant that they were coated to resist rusting.

The carbon steel blades on the Moras will rust quickly if you do not care for them.

real quick! I blue my carbon steel yes, even my Mora, I ain't that good at keepin' a knife in pristeen condition. Bought one, blued it then used it.

Nope. There's actually three layers of metal sandwiched together.
