Well, I hate to be the outsider looking in but none of the above. You have to remember the rule of 3s. Food is not my first consideration. Shelter would be followed by fire and water. None of the items you gave me will provide that unless I use the powder out of the .45 to burn the fishing pole.

winter in idaho i'd probably be trapping, but there are many useful traps which can be made easily. i say fishing line and hooks for passive icefishing [which is really just trapping fish]. what part of idaho? there are many environments in the state.
