Thread: Attire For My Cuz!

    Default Attire For My Cuz!

These photos show a helmet that I made for my cousin. He is into the Renaissance period and real life Dungeons & Dragons game playing at various Renaissance Festivals.

He and his wife made their own outfits, but he commissioned me to make their helmets.

Very nice. By the way, your cousin seems to resemble Crashdive. Hmmmmm.

Can I borrow that for my mother-in-law? I will return it after deer season. Matter of fact, I will give you a nice deposit in good faith that it will return to you undamaged.
Ken has helped me out so much with legal stuff, I need to keep track of it so I can pay him back. I will be placing a 'score card' in my sig as a reminder.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciate the kudos!

It really isn't heavy. The frame under the deerskin cover is layered birch bark that is glued together using hide glue, and the antlers are attached to the birch bark frame. The antlers are dried and weigh much less as when they were green.

At my cuz's request, the next one I'm making, for him, is with elk antlers. We'll see how well it goes as far as staying on the head!
