    Default Axe Sheath

The temps were a little cooler today, so it was a nice day to sit by the fire pit and make a few sheaths for axes.

Nice work! I want to try the stamps to pattern...do you just wet the leather and press the design into it?

Get the leather wet, set the stamp, give it a good whack with a hammer.

Best make that a small wooden or rawhide hammer. Rule out the claw hammer & sledge unless you have a gentle touch

And I dont (have a gentle touch)..but I do have a nice dead blow hammer so all I need to do now is add the stamp set to me tandy order. Then I can start wrecking stuff until I can figure out how to line the pattern up so it looks half as nice as the stuff crash can turn out....I hope!

    Crash,
Nice stuff. Would you share your sources for the leather and especially the hardware?
