Thanks sjj, I was looking at that box just a few days ago. After my move I have two boxes one for equipment missing the wall wart, and one of the warts. Sorting that out will be a winter project

    Good tip.
We used lumber chalk on the race tires as we need to change markings at times.
    Position , pressure, etc.

    Another one I find useful:
Pack all your ratchet straps,(have a LOT of them), rolled them up and stored in an old sock, large wool worn out hunting socks work well.
Big socks hold about 4 rolled up straps.
Keeps them from getting tangled, and of course if you really need a pair of dry socks, there you go.

You know I don't stir things up, just helping

In order to keep your water pipes from freezing and averting costly repairs during a power outage or heating problem turn on your hot and cold water, just enough that you have a small steady stream.

Heck yeah. Everybody use to use tire crayons, but then came treating tires, with different chemicals, and that often makes it hard to mark them with crayon. The silver metallic sharpies work great.

(I guess that you know that we use slightly different sizes at each corner, as well as different air pressures, and sometimes different rubber compounds.)

I never fold my underwear. Just stuff them in the drawer. That makes life so much easier.

    Default Velcro

At a local flea market I ran across some packets of velcro strips. They ran a buck or two for about 3 feet of the adhesive backed stuff. This stuff has been used for repairing backpacks with broken ties/ zippers, mounting my gps so it can go with whatever vehical I am driving, used in my boat for hold downs of a half-dozen diff items, can be used with tarps for quick shelters...ect. If the adhesive back isn't strong enough it can be sewn or stapled...I love this stuff.
