That's why I didn't vote. I've got a pretty full schedule for the next few months. That weekend I am woriking on the Sheriff's Advisory Council Safety Fair. We'll do another one. Not everybody can make every one.

I understand crash, just giving you a hard time.

Anyone have anything specific they want to do? Just want to get a list started so we can make sure to get it all in.

    1. Fishing
    2. Eating
    3. Hiking

I know these three are on the list. =)

    Adding on to the list:

    1. Fishing
    2. Eating
    3. Hiking
    4. Plant Identification (this could be done while hiking)
    5. Bow Drill wood finding and exercises

Sorry to have disappeared for so long. My site announced it's closure and I think its harder to close a place down than to open one. Jobless at the moment so no camping for us. I'm focusing on finding a job at the moment. But want to do something when I've got some time under my belt and can take a vacation.

Sorry to hear about that Jayden, but I wish you the best and God bless. We will have more of these in the future and you will be able to make one.

Thanks, Roar. Wish me luck, the job market sucks with you have to contend with 180 other people.

OK I am back! I know it appeared I cut out on ya'll. Well actually I did, I just came off of a 10 day vacation at Lake Wataree in SC. Time well spent with Mom and Dad and my Daughter! So you guys picked May 15 and 16th! Great! I'll get to seeing about reserving a spot for the group!

It has been awhile since we've heard from some of the members that were interested in going, think we should send a pm with dates and link to this thread?

Working on it now, sucks you can only send to 5 people at a time. I'm just worried that being close to a month ahead, people will ignore the message and end up forgetting about it anyway. Oh well we can send another message as it gets close.

I'm going to look up the location on google. I gotta see how far away it is. I'd love to attend, but I'm thinking it's pretty far.

Lol.. if you look at the little map of Georgia on the talulah site from the PM, you'll notice none of the major roads are anywhere close to the southwest corner. I'm in the opposite corner of GA from the event. Being close to an 8 hour drive and my current finances, I'm going to have to decline this time. If you guys do it again next year (or sooner) maybe I can go then.

Shoot Mel and I will miss it by one week. We are going down to Atlanta for a blade show. It happens at the end of the month. Maybe another time then.

Are we still doing this or do we need to push the date back for around summer time and then maybe more people will be able to make it?

    What do you all think?
