I got a pretty good chuckle seeing some of Nativedude's old posts resurrected.

I wear bear skin/fur and it is long enough to coVer my knees and my elbows.
From the neck of the skin, I made a long straight down incision, all the way down..
Then there are 3 strings near the incision so i can tighten the skin around me.
It also has a hood, the bear's head.

I also have wooden plates that cover the front of my arms and legs.

Anybody else like me out there? I'm morbidly obese, so I can't find anything in my waist size (58). I just have to wear polypro under my blue jeans. If anybody knows where I can get super-X sizes, I'd sure appreciate the tips.

Sounds like you need to PM Dizralph and arrange for a big grizzly bear skin!
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Default Just a friendly suggestion, offered in the best possible spirit:

Why not just go on Weight Watchers and lighten your load?
Compared to SHTF or TEOTWAWKI, it'll be relatively easy to endure. Think of all the extra gear you could carry and all the cool stuff you could wear!
Besides, if that's not about survival, I don't know what is.

So what about pants,? or loin cloth?
    Pretty heavy isn't it....mine is, it's on the couch......as a throw.

Bucks skins last a long time but are heavy, get damp, can be kinda clammy........Or hot in hot weather....
