    Default Ahhh Christmas Time

Thought I would share some pictures of all our decorations. Always makes me feel like a kid again.

"Honey, why aren't you more like Doug? He already has their decorations up."

    ....later

"So what do you say guys? All the wives are saying the same thing."
    "I say light the torches!!!"
(crowd together) Yeah!! Let's get him."

Very nice, Doug. Just don't let my wife know you've already put your decorations up.

Every year I try my hardest to make my wife wait til December 5th (Saint Nicolas Day) to set up anything. I have been married 9 years and my success record is 0-9. This year doesn't look any better. But, at least she does have the courtesy to wait until AFTER thanksgiving.

Isn't the bow, on the Michelob packaging enough decoration?

Ha! I've had my decorations up since last holiday season. I win! Or does that make me a rednecksican? Hehehe......

My decorations won't be going up til 19th December. My dad had a thing about decorations going up too early and I've just carried on.
Also any mention of presents before the 1st December was pretty much guaranteed to send him into orbit.

Gosh, we could have used him in th '60s when we were putting men on the moon. He would have been a whole lot cheaper.

We always put ours up the day after Thanksgiving cause were all home and its easy, but there are some who get in the Christmas spirit real early.

OK, I put up some Christmas lights. I'm the house on the right.

He would probably have had a go at fixing Apollo 13 while he was up there, I can here him now.... "if you just pass me that wrench boy, we'll have it fixed in no time!"

You look pretty happy about being an elf though in the pictures!

Very nice, Doug. You guys sure have the Christmas spirit. By the way, you should have slipped the hat on the dog. That would have showed her!

I love the Pagan traditions of Christmas. But stopped putting up lights for energy conservation reasons. Lights have nothing to do with Jesus or Pagans, just Macy's.
