    Default Renewing the Survival bin

Goin' through the big rubbermaid survival bin to get rid of any outdated stuff. I got MRE's, survival water pouches, a radio, batteries, fixed blade, flares, first aid kit, canteen, fire starter, orange plastic foldable tube tent, hatchet, space blanket, Hook, line, sinker, bait, extra clothes, survival manual, toothbrush/toothpaste, toilet paper. Plus in my bug out bag I have MRE's, Water, Extra Clothes, Space blanket, Flashlight, Fixed blade, Batteries, Fire starter, and first aid kit..... Anymore suggestions?

TG - my suggestion would be to try it. Go camping - even in your yard - take all your camping stuff, but only use the items in your bin. That will be the best way IMO to find out what does and doesn't work for you. You'll always have the rest of your camping gear should you find out your bin is lacking something.

Rotate out the batteries, and the meds in your first aid kit, even the toothpaste has an expiration date I beLIEve,so use those, but replace them with newer like items.
