"How to survive TEOTWAWKI"--The Book

I am half way through and can already tell that this is bound to become of the more useful books of its kind.
Written in a straight forward, no-nonsense style, it deals (just enough) with the most important issues one might face and serves them up in a manual type format that doesn't make your eyes glaze over.

Has anyone read it?

I have not read it......But I am living it......I read Jim Rawles blog every night. I endorse the lifestyle he advocates, I feel it is healthy, wholesome, and very satisfying to live a rural self sufficiency lifestyle. Would be nice if at appealed to more ladies.

The author is James Wesley, Rawles.
He also wrote "Patriots" which made me actually start doing something about preparedness instead of just thinking about it.

Sourdough, I also read his blog every day and think there's a lot of wisdom and common sense to what he says. What adds to his credibility is that he also lives it.

Patriots is a good book although i do find flaws in it (as in his wasting a precious commodity, ammo) and it is a bit preachy. Another really good book to read is "One Second After", this is the other side of the coin as far as surviving ...... unprepared.
I just picked up his new book, a lot of good stuff in it.
In but books they are out in the country, with very little urban survival.

Yeah, he did get a little preachy in Patriots but not enough to obscure the benefits of everything else he was talking about.
He won't get the Pulitzer prize for writing either but he deserves a lot of credit for serving up an amazing amount of useful info in a way that won't bore people to death. The plot, while over the top, still seemed plausible.

I am already re-reading the second book. So much to absorb.

Just finished reading it. Packed with good information, some that I hope I never have to use. Once I started reading, I could hardly put it down. I plan to buy a couple of copies for friends.
