Missing Adult Alert Issued For Ohio Man, 61

Authorities are looking for a missing Hocking County man, who was last seen Monday afternoon and suffers from dementia.
James Mack Kinder, 61, is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
Kinder may be driving a white Jeep with Texas plates, with license plate number SRK3DV.

Kinder is a disabled veteran who may have violent tendencies. His license has been suspended.
Anyone with information should call the Hocking County sheriff's office at 740-385-2131 or dial 911.

well like i said phil thats a good are to ...either hide out or be lost in, ifn he's hiding it will be hard to find him, if he is disoriented and lost will be hard also, i have heard of some people hiding from SAR just cuz they had some emotional problems and was having and episode and the "voices" they was hearing didn't correlate to rescue in their minds, i wish him/them well
like i said i know that area, i lived in nelsonville and was a "guest" at lancaster for a year also terrible terrible place, opened in the 1800's and went downhill from there, but hey we all have a past, no?

I'm sure the emotional issues he has is a major contributing factor of why they haven't found him yet. I'll keep checking for updates and will post when he is found.

It's been over 24 hours sense he was reported missing. If he's driving, he could be well out of Ohio by now. A lot of people read this forum, you never know if one of them may cross paths with him. Keep a lookout...

wareagle, I would have left my practice behind to go searching for you if you were lost. Honest. Naturally, at this time of year, I would have scoured the finer restaurants in Martha's Vineyard first.
