I have one. I actually got to try it out a few weeks back.

Well, it's not a Zebco or a Penn, but for its size it gives a pretty decent cast after it's "loosened up" a bit. It sure beats a handline. I used a 3/4" fishing bobber Guests can not see images in the messages. Please register in the forum. which is about as small as you can go for a decent cast. I was hitting within a foot or so of my "target" spot about 20' away using a nightcrawler as bait. Caught 1 little sunfish about 7" long.

Looks like it would be perfect for a go bag. Put a pocket size tackle box with it.

Got the little fishing kit from gofastandlight.com as well. Supplemented it with a few items - such as the bobber and a couple of larger ones.

Some of you may recall that I ordered a bunch of these rod/reel combos as stocking stuffers for the kids. One just happened to find its way into my stocking.

My pleasure! BTW - I have both the open-face reel and the box reel. I was using the open-face reel.
