Thread: Hi from Ohio

    Default Hi from Ohio

Hey all, just stumbled across this forum, and so far I'm impressed. Some friends and I are going to be actively training our survival skills over the coming year or so, so I'm very happy I could find a place like this, especially one with so many crafters. I generally read more than I post, but that will likely change over time. See you out there!

    What is there to tell?

I'm 25 and live in Ohio, though I'm originally from the New England area. As I mentioned, I'd like to improve my knowledge of the outdoors and learn to be more self-sufficient. Fortunately, some close friends will be joining me, which will let us work on some larger-scale projects. For now I've been brushing up on my knots and plant identification. I live in the hated city at the moment, but I'll soon be moving to a much more forested place. My favorite cookies are Thin Mints, and my favorite color is black.

Anything else you'd like to know?

I remember being at a social event one evening, talking to "Tom" about some insignificant thing or another. Along comes "Bill," and Bill points out a very attractive young lady and proceeds to explain, graphically, just what he'd like to do with her. And "Tom" says, "that's my daughter....."
