    hi i am new here and i was wondering if anyone knows a link or book on how to make watertight baskets

    Default depends on what's available

    Birch bark, the second layer on the birch...kind of pinkish color, can be made into a water tight basket pretty easily.
    some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

    pilgram do you know the name of the book you are referring to if not don t worry about it thanks for the info
    and thanks trax i always think of birt=ch bark for containers but yeah could be done
