    Default The Clay Refrigerator

I've been working with clay based projects for years as part of primitive living skills training. I came across this article and thought it might be of some interest to a few of you.

I wonder if adding salt to the water would lower the temperature to prolong cooling. If you could do it that way, you should be able upscale it for larger applications such as cooling dessert type homes.

No, adding salt works on ice to lower the melting point, there is no ice involved in this cooler.
