    Default Interesting Day!

I do some snow plowing for a few people in my area, mostly seniors, well today I had to do a bit. One lady that I plow out has a habit of coming out to watch when I plow her yard, then loves to have a chat after. Today I did not see her while plowing, after I was done I went in and knocked on her door, no answer, I knocked louder, and shouted her name.

At this time I thought I her something, so I broke in (Thank you leatherman multi tool) and found her laying on the floor. I think she had been there since the night before. She is now in the hospital, and I am waiting to hear how she is doing.....just goes to show you never know what is going to happen when you get up in the morning.

Hopefully she'll be OK. I'm sure your quick thinking will have a lot to do with it.

Got a call awhile ago...she has had a re-lapse, she is sedated, intubated, and on two different heart drugs, guess now we know why she fell in the first place. Hope she comes through this, would really miss that lady....she has a heart of gold, but loves to argue with me, I grew up next door to her....told me when I called the ambulance that when she got her legs back under her she was going to kick my a## up between my shoulders...said she had been thinking about doing it for the last 40 years, and now seemed as good a time as any...

You done good. We are getting away from helping our neighbors and checking on them. Where I grew up in KY everybody checked on each other just like the old days. Here in
Wayne Co., WV not as much.

River rat, my hat is off to you, sir. Nicely done. As Pop and some others have mentioned in this day and age too few seem to take the time to simply check on a neighbor, you did a lot with that simple gesture (and thank goodness for your leatherman, I suspect burglary is not among your usual skill sets) I hope she's back kicking your a$$ soon.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
