Wish you folks the best of luck. I'm sure you all know how to deal with the ash but here's a couple of preparedness web sites just in case. I sure hope you don't need them!

    From the USGS:

    http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/ash/

    From Anchorage:

    http://www.muni.org/oem/Volcanic%20Ash%20Alert.cfm

Hope - Don't forget about the ducks!

Send woman with money, and a case of vanilla flavored creamer, with this help there is a chance I could make it, (Talk about a Stimulus Package)

Actually, I slept well, no earth quakes here, the first I heard of it erupting was from you'all when I turned on the computer. Appears the ash is over looping the local area.

My biggest problem is that it snowed all Sat. and Sunday total 19" on top of 10" last Tuesday.

Thanks for caring about us. Send women with money & a snow shovel.

Hmmm. 29 inches of snow? Do the ducks tunnel under the snow or do you fit them with snow shoes? And what about the brown poodle? It's kind of hard to hike your leg that high. I can't even do that. Of course, there's a lot of things a dog can do that I can't. Sort of wish I was a dog, sometimes.

Yeah we fine here in Anchorage. Wouldn't have known about it if my wifes work wouldn't have called last night. Never felt a thing and it still white from all the snow we got. Guess we got lucky this time.

HaHa!! I am very glad the squirrels up here aren't armed. Tho I would be careful in Mass. I here there is a guy who is really careful about his little squirrel buddies... I think he may be supplying them with firearms.
