Hey y'all (implied "wautch thee-us"!):
Ted Foureagles here -- Cherokee/Scot 'breed from Carolina, firmly ensconced in Central Colorado for about the past half-century.
I've managed to hide out in the mountains all my life so far -- either the Appalachains or Rockies; though I once did a stint with Uncle Sugar's stormtroopers in the Cascades, and taught winter mountain survival there to city kids turned Army Rangers.
Just about getting too damn old & creaky for that sorta thing any more, but keep the pack stuffed and crampons sharp anyhow.
