I liked the Irish dude in Braveheart. (Just kidding, however Mel Gibson isn't a Scot, but an Aussie!) Really enjoyed Mr. Gibson's performance in "We Were Soldiers." We recently watched "Shooter" & enjoyed that one, also "Breach".

I'm actually a movie buff so here are some films to check out, beware, some are old!

Best low budget independent film: "84 Charlie MoPic."

    Best comedy: "The Princess Bride"

    Best "chick-flick" satire: "Drop-Dead Gorgeous."

Best new Action Film: "Casino Royale."

Those are off the top of my head...Oh yeah, "Galaxy Quest" was great!

I love Brit comedies (Red Dwarf, Alan Partridge, Black Adder, etc)

My favorite movie of all time is The Outlaw Josey Wales. I know every word in the movie and say them along with the actors. My wife hates it.

Anything History Channel especially Modern Marvels.

Be sure and catch Rambo IV this year. The only thing bigger than Sly's muscles is his knife. The poster I saw showed one big enough to double as a snowboard, but it was probably just the way it was shot.

Hmmmm. There are quite a few, aren't there? I'll throw out the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

    Gattaca is my favorite.
    Tombstone
    The Outlaw Josey Whales.
    Highlander
    Terminator--1 and 2.
Princess Bride (Best children's flick of all time, IMO)
    The Borne Identity/Supremacy
Three Days Of The Condor (An oldie but goody)
Gross Point Blank (My favorite comedy)
Leon The Professional (Co-starring Natalia Portman <sp?> when she was little. Excellent film.)

I'm kinda different... I don't really watch all the new movies... I kinda like some of the older stuff... and new stuff liike LOST. Has anyone heard of MacGyver? It's about a guy who works for the US and goes all over the world on missions like disarming a bomb, or making peace treaties, or tracking endangered species. Not like a spy or anything... just goes around doing good. But that's not the cool part... he makes cool inventions off the top of his head to get out of all his problems he runs into. Like when the two guys in suits are chasing him with guns firing, he mixes together some bubble gum and other junk and makes a bomb. (Yeah it probly sounds crazy...) I like the old comedy, Gilligan's Island... any other fans of this??

I don't watch much "regular" TV series like sit-coms or dramas. I'm a big fan of "The Shield" & "Monk". Lately I've been enthralled by MSNBC's "To Catch A Predator."
