Default Good Survival Books, CDs, Etc.

    Hi all,

I would love to find some good books, CDs, etc. which can help one survive during worst case scenarios, pole shifts, supervolcanoes, mega heat waves, etc.
I read reviews on the "US Army Survival Manual: FM 21-76" on Amazon & they seemed very positive. "Wilderness Survival" by Mark Elbroch & Michael Pewtherer seemed welcomed warmly and "No Such Thing As Doomsday : How to Prepare for Earth Changes, Power Outages, Wars & Other Threats'" by Philip Hoag got great reviews, although a bit pricey.
It seems there are lots of survival books out there. Could anyone refer me to some of the better ones you may know of?

    Thank you very much,

    MikeE

One book I recommend is: "Camping & Wilderness Survival (second edition)" by Paul Tawrell.

    Some others:

"SAS Survival Guide" by John "Lofty" Wiseman
"98.6 Degrees - The art of keeping Your *** Alive" by Cody Lundin
"Build the Perfect Survival Kit" by John D. McCann

    DVD:

    "Prepared To Survive" by Lifeview.
"The ability for a person to prevail in a survival situation is based on three factors: survival knowledge, equipment, and will to survive. All are important, but the most important is the will to survive." -Greg Davenport
