It Doesn't Get Any Better
Not sure if this could be considered "Survival Food," but one of the boys from the hunting shack is bringing venison pies in tonight. He really has a gift for making them:
Venison, sweet potatoes, wild rice, peas, carrots, and sweet onions in milk & bacon grease gravy - and he really knows how to make a crust!

Oh man that sounds good, unfortunately for me pie crusts are definitely not my forte. My late brother seriously made the best pie crust I've ever tasted, he should have been a pastry chef, like seriously best ever, but that recipe just looks mouth-watering RBB.
