Out standing....What is the shelter called?

The shelter is similar what is called a "Wikiup or Wigwam" here.....

This one was put up at a re-enactment camp, but used canvas covers.
Grass mats, bark, and hides were more traditional.

@Hunter, we called it a Mesolithic hut. Archaeologists found marks in de ground who were most likely from a shelter, 8500 years old. And we used those marks to build our hut.

The picture size is fine, especially for us more "experienced" viewers that appreciate larger pictures....and print.

Walking in buckskin clothes is one thing, but it needs always a finishing touch...

Very cool. What are the polished stones you are using, and also, how the hell did you get holes in them? It took me a week to drill a single hole into a Texas flint spearpoint once. (the one and only time I bothered to try it, I even used a diamond tipped drill and modern tools.)

You could use a hot nail... it's amber...
But I prefer a small flint drill. More authentic you see.

    Agreed.....
Being older, do like the bigger pic's as is...Also lazy, so like just looking at them.

Thumbnails need to be clicked...., than "back" on the page,... to get back, and some times have to re-load the thread.

    Thanks for the format change.
