I heard a rumor once that Crash was smart, but it turned out that Crash had started the rumor and he only did it because he was tryinng to be smart. Personally, I'd never try that.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
You mean it was just a rumor???!!!???

yep.....can't do a thing with it.
Don't worry about it,just about the time you get ready to wash it again,it will look fine.

The easiest thing to do is, Drill out a piece of Antler< Epoxy, And where the blade and antler come together, Wrap with a piece of rawhide, Gives it that backwoods homemade look. And if necessary this can be done in the wild. And it looks COOL.
i would make a 2 piece wooden handle, dry fit, test grip, drill 2 holes for riveting purposes, , use epoxy to seal and attach, and re apply epoxy into holes and rivet tight. seal handle and buff it. thats how i would do it, and have done it with a cheap survival knife. hope it helps.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.
Bringing an old thread like this back to the light is always a good idea. Somebody that reads it will benefit from it, and new information will often be added. I just hope that the OP got it re-handled in the last three years.
in a little less words , thats exactly what im talking about guys, lol. wow, i be damned.
The thing I find is that people frown on just glue/epoxy. Well, blades have been glued into handles since the very first chipped flint blades.
Two Ton epoxy is stronger then any task you would survive performing.

i would agree with ya winter

Be careful of you apoxy choice. Some glues are water soluble. I had run out of my normal 5 min apoxy I normally used and switched to Gorilla Glue for one knife...... Worked great for years until one day I threw the knife in the water pail after gutting a fish with the intentions of washing it with the dinner plates. 30 mins later I did the dishes and the blade just slid right out of the handle.
