Hopefully if you live in that area you have evacuated. Heard the national weather folks say today that if you stay in one of the evacuation area, you will die. Please be safe.
I think many people will find out that the contents of their houses are not insured. And is a storm surge from a hurricane counted as a flood for insurance purposes? So damaged from a storm surge is covered only by flood insurance?
IMO - if you live in an area that is apt to flood and don't have flood insurance..........let's just say shame on you.
