Aha. And you thought you were being funny with "What's that a kidney stone?". 1491, Howlin' Jack. That's older than....Sarge.

Why and how would anyone eradicate that type of stone work?

Because Gray wolf back then trade was almost at its highest peak. Which leads to hate and fear, which leads to the dark side... I heard that somewhere....

Are you saying that between 1491 and 1509 that trade in the US was close to it's peak?

That's like saying that someone is going to eradicate knapping...

Any help? or am i just a BIG wimp?
Use earplugs. Get some made out of silicone or wax, not the foam thingies. They'll cut out all the cracks and creaks out there at night.

Good on you admitting to being scared, many people are; most guys I know just don't admit to it but rather pack a gun as their safety blanket.
And hey, go on that solo trip! If you go for a week or more, after a few nervous nights, sleep deprivation plus ear plugs will give you a good night's rest for sure

The white mans Greed destroyed the the natives methods of stone working because ,Gold ore , silver ore, and semi prescious stone were valued so highly by the white man. the materials were stolen from the natives, thoes who refused were murdered.

    Your timeline is way off:
It wasn't until 1821 that Mexico gains independence from Spain. California is under Mexican control, but government is loose because of the distance from Mexico City. Mexico opens the California coast to foreign trade and American vessels begin to trade with Californios.

The California Gold rush didn't even start until 1848. In 1846 The population of California consisted of about 6,900 Californios, 700 foreigners (mostly Americans) and at least 300,000 Native Americans. The Donner Party got lost 2 years before that.

The Gold rush had little to do with boston in the 1490's. the seat of Eastern indian commerce Boston was wealthy with ore and stone. The puritans understood stone and Greed. And they Murdered thousands or indians to get it.
