Thread: Got my tanned fur back

  1. #1

Default Got my tanned fur back

from Moyles tannery out of Idaho.

i was very pleased with the results.

all this fur was caught in Wyoming this past fall. i had these pelts tanned because they had special meaning to me and i never know when or if ill get out there to trap again.

the memories associated with this fur are worth way more than what they would have brought on the market, imo.

Very nice. The way you have them positioned on the chair, it almost looks like the coyotes are howling.

That's a mighty big trap you used. I didn't know Jeep made traps but I guess whatever works. Nice!

trappingal, were those coyotes in the range of 30-35 pounds? If you don't mind what did Moyles charge you to do one of the coyotes?

believe it or not it weighed 16lbs. it was huge by our standards here.

Okay. If we ever meet and you think I'm handsome (not likely but just in case) please let me know. Since good looking animals wind up tanned around your house I'd like the opportunity to escape.

    Dude - what happened?

I don't know. One minute I'm wandering through the backwoods of West Virginia, I bend over to look at some flowers........then BAM! .......last thing I remember.

    Those are some nice pelts.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

If that's what happened to the guy in your picture, you're not encouraging anyone to sign up.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
