    Default Check-in questions

I went to the dr. yesterday. LOL some of the questions were how I identify my sex and my pronouns. I guess that’s the new normal.

I pretty much identify my sex by lookin'. I haven't changed in all these years. Still, I guess it doesn't hurt to make certain. As for my pronouns...well, me, myself and I have worked for a lot of years so I guess I'll keep on using them.

I think those folks that need to use them or it should be relegated to antecedents. Leave the pronouns to us grownups.

Watched a comedy standup by Carrot Top once... He referred to the Dr. office forms question of Sex. M or F... He said it was confusing because he preferred F, but was mostly by himself.....

Haven’t had to do one yet, but I’m sure I will have something to put down. I’m thinking “Master,” “Duke,” or even “President” could be fitting. In the past, for ethnicity, I have marked “other” and claimed to be European American instead of white.

If they see your avatar picture they're not going to think you're anything but white....

I have my identity sewn into my hong. If I could only see it. It's to the point I have to take it off to read it.

Yeah...new normal... Only some don't ask and some apologize and say,"Sorry, I have to ask "

    I'm s'picious.
True enough, my final home is still out there, but this is most certainly my home range and I love it. I love every rock I fall off and tree I trip over. Even when I am close to dying from exhaustion, a beautiful sunset doesn't lose it's power to refresh and inspire me and that, in itself, is enough to save me sometimes.

I just looked (don't be eyein' me like that, I Googled it, okay?). There are 68 gender identities. 68! 68! Dating was a whole lot easier in my day. Hokey cripes, today, you'd have to hand someone a check list just to see if they are a gender you want to ask out.

Back before they mandated the Covid vaccination at my old job, I asked the production supervisor if I identify as vaccinated, will they accept it. He just laughed at me.

68?! I bet crazy ain’t one. I stayed at a hotel where they were having a convention of people dressed up as zoo animals. The elevator ride was awkward.

Yeah, one Halloween I dressed up as a skunk. I ate beans and pickled eggs. Gave a whole new meaning trick or treat.
