Default Kids aged 13 to 1 yr old survive 40 days in Columbian jungle.

I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

And to think, children, including a ONE year old, did better in the wilderness than most contestants of “Alone”

Hahaha, yeah crash, not even a crap Mora knife.

Xanatos, they didn't really have a choice.

They were all indigenous people though. They had some skills despite their age. A 13 yr old is a pretty durable and capable primate.

When it all comes down to the nitty-gritty surviving just means not dying.

Some people don't die better than others.

Alan and I, as long term educators, have spent a lot of time with 13 year old kids. That is a 7th grader for those that do not know. I had to stress to parents for years that if raised right their 7th grade kids were plenty old enough to make good choices and do some thinking for themselves. This girl proves it and should raise the expectations of every parent in America.

She kept her two brothers and her one year old sister alive for 6 weeks using nothing but her brain.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

Truthfully, I think I'd rather try to survive with 7th graders than with 12 graders.... Certainly not with 10th graders...

Hahahaha, most would die without their phones.

Most of them wouldn't even know the plane had crashed until their batteries died....

I was teaching in 1975. I can verify that 10th graders were a waste of space before cell phones were invented!

What does it mean to be sophomoric?
: conceited and overconfident of knowledge but poorly informed and immature. a sophomoric argument. : lacking in maturity, taste, or judgment.
