    Default Another solo kayak trip

A few weeks ago, I went on another solo kayak trip down the Broad River. Never been on this section of river before. I’m wanting to do the whole river trail of this river and I’m about halfway there now. This trip was about 11.5 miles and I did it in 2 hours and 38 minutes.

When I go on these trips, I get my wife to drop me off and pick me up. At least this takeout (or put-in) is only two miles from my house if she forgets me.

And that is why we filter our water. You never know what's upstream. Nice pics. Looks like a nice float trip.

Paddling on the river can be very relaxing. Looks like your trip is no exception.

Beautiful weather AND free meat? Looks like a great trip.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.
